That sunday went to dear camp!!!
Main Entrance
The main entrance is made of granite. The word "SAFTI Military Institute" were inscribed in the granite and it is filled with silver inlay. The main entrance also has a specially crafted stainless steel Insignia of the Institute. This Insignia weighs 500 kilograms. It has a width of 2.3 metres and a height of 2.4 metres.
Parade Square
The Parade Square is 170 metres X 120 metres. It is made of a combination of materials; granite, exposed aggregate and turf. The parade square is designed to reduce the glare of daylight and the heat level. This serves to improve the overall comfort level of the troops on parade. The ground loading of the parade square has been designed to take the weight of armoured vehicles as well.
SAFTI Link Bridge
The SAFTI Link Bridge which spans across the PIE serves to transport military personnel and vehicles from the Institute to the SAFTI training grounds and the old SAFTI complex. The bridge also symbolises the Institute's link with the SAFTI heritage.
TowerThe Tower is approximately 60 metres in height. It serves as a landmark of the
SAFTI Military institute. The Tower is a concrete structure with granite slabs fitted on the external walls. It is triangular in design, symbolising the
tri-service nature of the Institute.
By the way,the tower have 265step all together. It symbolise 265days of training(interesting rite...).And the view up there was best.Think on the second day dear they all already have to climb up,is CLIMB.While that day we went up is take the lift haha...
Over view...So nice haha...
I went to those places above. A good experience, coz not everyone can experience it hehe....
